Comey Gives Tapper A Run For His Money In Audacious Claims

As CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson continue the shameless charade of their Excuseapalooza book tour, “dirty cop” James Comey shouts, “Hold my Beer!”

The reporters’ much-ballyhooed book, Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again, officially dropped on Tuesday, but Tapper has been offering his cheap fake version of events for days in a parade of media hits. The book and its authors want Americans — who rightly should be mad as hell — to let them off the hook for participating in arguably the worst political cover-up in U.S. political history: That deeply senile Joe Biden was cognitively fit to serve as the 46th president.

The book, which Hunter Biden’s daughter Naomi Biden has panned for her own reasons as “political fairy smut,” appears to paint poor Tapper and company as victims of deception from Biden’s inner circle in a plot to hide the demented president’s cognitive decline. In other words, Tapper claims he was gaslighted as he, his network and so many others in the accomplice media were gaslighting America. The examples of their complicity are multitudinous.

The authors’ defense is a desperate attempt to hold on like grim death to the last shreds of integrity they and the Pravda Press have left after serving up a smorgasbord of lies — from Covid to the aforementioned Hunter Biden and his laptop.  But the Biden is mentally “sharp” lie, routinely repeated by Tapper, was so massive that it raises the troubling and necessary question: Who was in charge of the executive branch between Jan. 20, 2021 and Jan. 20, 2025? It’s looking less and less likely that it was Joe Biden. Corporate media’s feverish reporting Monday on the former president’s prostate cancer diagnosis amid so much bad PR for Biden only heightens the need to know who knew what and when.

It’s all as preposterous as Naomi Biden’s claims that her grandfather is a “completely good and honest” man.  And it defies justice (as so many things in leftist politics and corporate media do), that Tapper and his ilk still have jobs in journalism, let alone raking in millions of dollars for their political porn.

You Can’t Shame the Shamless

That brings us to Comey, the disgraced former FBI director whose hatred for the present president has risen to threatening levels. Purportedly during a leisurely stroll along the beach, Comey chanced upon a “Cool shell formation.” He just had to snap a pic and post it on his Instagram account. The seashells spelled out “86 47.”

Curiously, Comey claimed ignorance to the slang definition of “86,” or to “86” someone, which is well understood to mean “to kill, to murder; to execute judicially.” In this case, Comey’s “cool formation” appears to be a call to 86 the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump. Even more curious is the fact that a veteran law enforcement agent who long ago prosecuted the notorious Gambino Crime Family would be unfamiliar with a term so familiar in mafia circles. As Newsweek notes, the mafia’s use of the term referred to taking someone “eight miles out of town” and burying them “six feet under.”

“I didn’t realize some folks associate it with violence,” he posted on his Instagram account after removing — or 86ing — his post.

Comey, or the “dirty cop” as Trump likes to call him, now finds himself in hot water over his shell game. U.S. Secret Service agents interviewed the politically-driven ex-FBI chief on Friday, a day after he posted his cheeky message, multiple news outlets have reported, including Tapper’s outfit. While he was not in custody and appeared voluntarily, the investigation continues.

And, as if they have learned nothing from their unscrupulous history that they are doomed to repeat, the same corporate media players are writing off the real possibility that the same former FBI director who sought to 86 Trump’s first term would post a menacing message about the president in his second. MSNBC, the official sponsor of Trump Derangement Syndrome, insists that what is most frightening is the Trump administration’s attack on Comey’s First Amendment rights.

“The genuine threat is not that a president’s life is in danger, but that the Trump administration is attempting to silence the speech of political adversaries,” MSNBC columnist Jessica Levinson wrote Monday in an absurd piece. (Of course, the people who actually ran the Biden administration know a thing or two about actually silencing the speech of political adversaries.)

Memo to Jessica: The president’s life is in danger. Constantly. I’m not sure if she remembers this, but less than a year ago Trump came within a skosh of an inch from being the Republican Party’s dead nominee for president via a would-be assassin’s bullet. An alarming number of leftist lunatics believe it’s justifiable to kill Trump. And Comey, a Deep State weasel who did everything in his power to take out a duly elected president, isn’t merely expressing “political advocacy” with his “cool” seashell formation photo. To many in the TDS army, Comey’s Instagram message read like a violent call to action.

Tapper, Thompson, and Comey have another thing in common: they’re all trying to sell books. While peddling his new crime novel Monday evening at Barnes & Noble on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, Comey complained the Secret Service’s investigation into his social media post was a “bit of a distraction.” He claimed to be bewildered by “how a seemingly innocent Instagram shot of shells arranged in the sand led to allegations by Donald Trump among others that he was calling for the president’s assassination,” the Associated Press, another peddler of the Biden lie, reported. Interestingly, as my Federalist colleague Mark Hemingway reported last week, Comey’s book is about a U.S. attorney who successfully prosecutes a right-wing commentator who he believes has taken free speech too far.

From Tapper to Levinson, from CNN to MSNBC, and all of the corporate media coverup stooges in between, the shameless beat goes on. But it’s no skin off their noses. Just as there is no honor among thieves, it is impossible to shame the shameless.
